Spanish prepositions
A preposition in Spanish is a word that links a noun, pronoun or infinitive to other words.
Prepositions are invariable: they do not have masculine or feminine, singular or plural.
Prepositions are words normally placed before nouns or pronouns.
Prepositions can have a variety of meanings: location, movement, time, possession...

- Some prepositional phrases can function like single word prepositions: enfrente de, cerca de, lejos de, encima de, debajo de, detrás de... called complex prepositions or compound prepositions.

- Some adjectives require a preposition.
